The new year brings us a new release and a new artist to the Dark Duck Records roster. Here we have the debut release from Nephets Blip titled "Datacenet" (aka Fresh Fruit). This CD features 13 tracks, more then an hour of minimal micro-ambient and experimental textures. At times, the sounds are odd, other times, they seem to resonate with an all too familiar glow. Have a listen to the sound samples and you'll get the idea. We here at Dark Duck Records absolutely love this first CD from this very talented duo and are pleased to have Nephets Blip as part of the Dark Duck Records family. Look for their followup CD to be released in March 2009.
